PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a compact rare gas fluorescent lamp having a small amount of reduction of a light quantity in a life of a lamp, and meeting a CIS system, and also to provide a rare gas fluorescent lamp apparatus.
SOLUTION : In this rare gas fluorescent lamp wherein a pair of electrodes are disposed face to face on the tube wall of a straight tube-shaped glass bulb along the axial direction of the tube, and an phosphor layer is disposed on the inner wall of the glass bulb, the glass bulb is made of potash/barium glass obtained by mixing bivalent iron ions in a base material comprising potassium oxide/barium oxide/silicon oxide (K2O/BaO/SiO2), and a sealed rare gas is a mixed gas of xenon (Xe) and neon (Ne), a total sealing pressure is 15-93 kPa, and the sealing rate of Xenon (Xe) to the total sealing pressure is 20-80%. |
