PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a discharge lamp which mainly radiates the light suitable for the photodynamic therapy (PDT) and diagnosis(PDD) in a photosensitive agent used for the therapy and the diagnosis.
SOLUTION : In the discharge lamp for the photodynamic therapy, at least two kind or more luminous elements selected from Li, Na, Rb and K are sealed in a discharge lamp which radiates the light with the wavelength compatible with the photoabsorption wavelength of the photosensitive agent that has a relatively large photoabsorption coefficient in the wavelength range of 600 nm to 800nm and at least one kind or more of gases selected from rare gases of Ne, Ar, Kr and Xe are sealed in. |
