PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a weed pulling device to surely pull out weeds grown on turf together with the root while remarkably reducing the labor of the worker.
SOLUTION : The device for pulling weeds W grown on turf has a handle attached to an end of a rod 2 and a pulling body 6 attached to the other end of the rod. The rod is directed vertically downward by gripping the handle, and the pulling body is thrust into the turf S under rotation and pulled up to pull out the weed. The pulling body 6 is a hollow member opened at both ends and has a blade 8 formed on the circumference of the lower opening. The inner circumference of the lower end is a root-holding part 10 having a straight inner diameter to hold the root N together with the surrounding earth E. The inner diameter of the body is gradually increased from the root-holding part toward the upper opening to form a discharging part 12 to discharge the weed from the upper opening. |
