PURPOSE : Provided is a resin composition for extrusion coating and extrusion lamination, useful for protective films as packaging materials for mechanical products, electronic products, heavy products and semiconductors, which has excellent electrical insulation property and wear resistance while maintaining high-speed processability.
CONSTITUTION : The resin composition having high insulation property and wear resistance for protective film comprises a low-density polyethylene(LDPE) resin or ethylene vinyl acetate(EVA) resin as a base resin, alpha-olefin copolymer(alpha-OL) resin and Neuburg siliceous earth. In the resin composition, the mixing ratio of the base resin to alpha-olefin copolymer resin is 1 : 99-99 : 1 on the weight basis, and the Neuburg siliceous earth is present in an amount of 1-10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the combined weight of the base resin and alpha-OL resin. The weight ratio of the base resin to alpha-olefin copolymer resin is preferably 20 : 80-80 : 20.
