PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an oxide phosphor which can be applied to VFD (vacuum fluorescent display) or the like as a substitute for sulfide phosphors.
SOLUTION : This phosphor represented by the general formula : M1-(3/2)xRxTiO3 [M is one or more alkaline earth metal elements; R is one or more elements selected from rare earth elements capable of being used as light-emitting centers; (x) is the number satisfying 0.99≤1-(3/2)x<1]. The phosphor (R is Pr) can suitably be used as a fluorescent element used for low speed electron beams and capable of realizing the emission of red color in high luminance. A preferable alkaline earth metal component is Ca. |
