SOLUTION : The porous silicon carbide-based sintered compact for the sliding member having silicon carbide as a main component, contains ≤11 wt.% aluminum compound, ≤15 wt.% rare earth element compound and ≤8 wt.% silicon oxide and has 20-40 μm average pore diameter and 13-18 vol.% porosity. |
