简介 |
The magnetoresistance includes three ferromagnetic layers (10-30) which are separated by non-magnetic layers (15, 25). The second layer (20) is made from a soft material and its magnetisation can be modified by an exterior magnetic field (H). One of the first (10) and third (30) layers has a trapped magnetisation in a measuring direction while the other layer has a magnetisation which can be orientated in the measuring direction under the effect of an electric measuring current (J) passing through the magnetoresistance. The magnetisation of the second layer (20) is sensibly perpendicular to the measuring direction. The material of the non magnetic layers is chosen from copper, silver and gold, and the layers have a thickness between 1.0 and 5.0 nanometres. The trapped magnetic layer (30) is made from an alloy of cobalt and iron containing rare anisotropy. |
