PURPOSE : A method for plastering yellow earth mortar on cement walls is provided to prevent cracking of wall and enable easy construction at a low cost by using yellow earth plaster and fiber glass mat. CONSTITUTION : The yellow earth-plastering method comprises the steps of : preparing yellow earth-plastering material by mixing the sediment of yellow earth, gathered from streaming yellow earth into water, with saw dust of pine trees in a volume ratio of 1 : 1, and adding a fiber reinforcing material and optionally 50%(based on the volume of yellow earth) of seaweed(agar) as a binder; plastering the resultant yellow earth on cement wall; putting fiber glass mats on yellow earth and pressing slightly; rubbing yellow earth mortar coming out of the mats to lay the mats under yellow earth. |
