PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a water-flow type air cleaner with decorativeness, safety and smooth handling, capable of being miniaturized without ruining the function of cleaning the air.
SOLUTION : The air cleaner comprises a head section and a main-body flow passage 31. The head section comprises : a fan 1 for taking in the air in the room; an ionization-needle 2; a connector 8a; and a funnel-shaped discharge outlet 6a for use in spraying the negatively-charged air onto a dish-like container 10 of the main-body flow passage 31. On the other hand, the main-body flow passage 31 comprises : a water-pipe 11 for extracting out the positively-charged water onto the upper face of the dish-like container 10; a tank 32 for storing the water; an earth-electrode for positively charging such water; a filter 16 for removing dust or the like from the water flowing downwardly; and a connector 8b connected to the connector 8a of a connection 8. Since the air cleaner is configured in a manner such that the dust or the like in the negatively-charged air is sprayed onto the positively-charged water, it is possible to miniaturize the whole apparatus while still maintaining the air-cleaning function thereof. |
