The invention concerns a method which consists in treating polluted sludge or soils by mixing them (3), after shredding (1) with water and a micronized carrier adapted to absorb at low temperature the hydrocarbons and polychlorobiphenyl, said carrier being then separated from the mixture (4, 5) and discharged or regenerated when the soil contains only hydrocarbons, the resulting mixture of earth and water being then optionally washed a second time (11) with an activated neutral solution binding with heavy metals, and transporting them with it during said rewash, the washing water being then separated from the pollutant and kept in closed circuit. |
