PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for treating discharged soil by which any unusable industrial waste and contaminated water are not discharged to the outside by packing the discharged soil directly into a filter press directly and treated soil can be discharged to the outside without treating it secondarily by an earth-sand separating means.
SOLUTION : In the method for treating discharged soil, the discharged soil is packed successively into a plurality of horizontally-layered filtration chambers 4-2 of the filter press 4 from an opening 4-3 communicated with the upper positions of the filtration chambers 4-2. The muddy soil content separated from the discharged soil is stored in a slurry tank 5-1. The concentration-adjusted muddy soil content is withdrawn from the slurry tank 5-1 and packed into the filter press 4 while being pressurized. The packed muddy soil content and discharged soil are pressurized/dehydrated together. After that, dehydrated cake is discharged by opening the filtration chambers 4-2 of the filter press 4. |
