简介 |
A tantalum or niobium base positive electrode conductor that can reduce high-temperature embrittlement and can enlarge a contact area with positive electrode body and that unexpectedly can improve the characteristics of insertion in powder at molding and sintering with powder to thereby enable stable fixing to a positive electrode body so that the inherent properties of the conductor can be fully exerted. In particular, there is provided a positive electrode conductor obtained from a tantalum or niobium material containing 0.01 to 3 ppm of rare earth element, which is shaped into a tape so as to provide a positive electrode conductor for electrolytic capacitor. For example, a tape-shaped conductor constituted of a tantalum or niobium material containing 0.01 to 3 ppm of rare earth element can be produced by melting tantalum or niobium powder containing 0.5 to 3 wt.% of rare earth element; obtaining an ingot containing 0.01 to 3 ppm of rare earth element; sequentially carrying out forging and rolling; and thereafter conducting slitting or grooved roll rework. |
