PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a catalyst for generating hydrogen having high catalyst activity in a low-temperature range and high heat resistance and oxidation resistance in a high-temperature range.
SOLUTION : The catalyst for generating hydrogen to produce hydrogen fuel from a gas containing hydrocarbon, oxygen and steam making use of at least a steam reforming reaction is a complex oxide having a perovskite structure and represented by following formula (1) : ABO3-δ. In the above formula (1), A is at least one kind of element selected from the group composed of an alkaline-earth metal element, an alkali metal element, a lanthanoid, yttrium and scandium; B is at least one kind of element selected from transition metal elements; and δ is an amount of an oxygen deficiency or an oxygen excess. |
