PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a mirror for vehicle of a thin membrane comprising hydride of rare-earth metal such as a magnesium-nickel based alloy thin membrane.
SOLUTION : Light adjustment mirror layers 20, 21 including the hydride of the rare earth metal such as the magnesium-nickel based alloy thin membrane are superposed on a curved surface of projection-like transparent bodies 11, 12 stuck on both ends of a mirror surface 2. Accordingly, physical property is converted to the mirror surface state and the transparent state only by controlling the applied voltage. Thereby, the normal visibility is ensured and the visibility of a wide angle is obtained. |
