PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a magnet screw type filtering machine capable of reducing unattracted chips caused by failure in attraction by increasing the attractive force of chips at a filtering part immersed in a dirty solution in a coolant tank. SOLUTION : When the filtering part 15 on a tip side of a cylindrical body 1 of the magnet screw type filtering machine is immersed in the dirty solution 11 stored in the coolant tank 10, a spiral magnet row 17 comprising rare earth magnets 17a with the powerful magnetic force provided corresponding to the filtering part 15 efficiently attract the chips 13 in the dirty solution 11 to allow them to be attracted the outer surface of the cylindrical body 1. By rotating a magnet part including the magnet row 17, the chips 13 are moved along the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical body 1, and carried to a carrying part 16 corresponding to the magnet row 18 comprising ferrite magnets 18a, etc. The chips 13 are smoothly transferred through a boundary 19 with the difference in magnetic force between the filtering part 15 and the carrying part 16 by a chip guide plate 20. |
