PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric ceramic composition particularly having improved dielectric constant, the small change of capacitance (excellent DC bias characteristic) in the application of DC voltage, improved accelerated life of insulation resistance and excellent breakdown voltage in the dielectric ceramic composition having excellent reduction resistance in firing and excellent capacitance temperature characteristic after firing.SOLUTION : The dielectric ceramic composition has an essential component containing barium titanate, yttrium (Y) oxide and an oxide of R1 (where, R1 is at least one kind selected from a 1st element group composed of rare earth metal having 0 mol and ≤8 mol, preferably 2-8 mol and R1 : >0 and ≤2 mol, preferably 0.01-1.25 mol.
