The present invention relates to a lid capable of separating rice-washed water, which can be used universally with any rice-cooking vessel due to a universal design using a silicone joint part, and by including a finely formed strainer for draining water, can isolate small objects such as rice grains from water, allows less force to be applied to a wrist when discarding rice-washed water by using an ergonomic design, and thus resolves the problem of the conventional drain that has holes too large to separate rice grains from water, and is only compatible with a standardized pot, thus lacking universal compatibility. According to the present invention, the lid, serving as a pot lid having a drain, comprises : a handle which has an elongated shape that is convenient to hold with one hand, allowing a user to hold the lid capable of separating rice-washed water with one hand; a coupling member which has a structure interlocking with a container inside a pot for enhancing the stability due to joining of the container and the lid; a contents-showing glass support which is integrated with the pot lid to allow the user to conveniently see the contents inside through glass; and a water drain which includes a fine structure such as wire net formed in a drain having an elongated rectangular shape so as to isolate rice grains from water, and retains small objects such as rice grains while permitting water to be drained. Accordingly, the lid can be used universally with any rice-cooking vessel due to a universal design using a silicone joint part, and by including a finely formed strainer for draining water, can isolate small objects such as rice grains from water.
