PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a lubricant composition achieving both of excellent oxidation life and low sludge resistance which cannot be achieved by a combination of conventional sulfur-based antioxidant and chain terminator.SOLUTION : There is provided a lubricant composition containing [A] a predetermined amount of sulfide ester represented by the following general formula (1) and [B] a chain terminator and practically no sulfur-containing metal complex, where Rand Rare each independently a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbyl group, but at least one is the hydrocarbyl group, l, n, m and o are each independently an integer of 2 or more, sum of l and m is 12 to 20, sum of n and o is 12 to 20 and x represents an integer of 1 to 3.SELECTED DRAWING : None |
