PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide : a hyperbranched polymer which is stable in the absence of acid but whose principal chain can be decomposed by acid; and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION : A hyperbranched polymer is derived from a polyfunctional vinyl ether compound and a phenol derivative represented by the general formula (I) in the figure. (In the formula, Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent C1-3 alkyl group; Rare identical or different and each represent a hydrogen atom or an eliminable hydroxy-protecting group; and the three groups in the parenthesis may be identical to or different from each other.) |
