The present invention relates to a fiber-reinforced composite pressure vessel and a manufacturing method thereof to reduce costs by reducing the amount of expensive fiber-reinforced composite materials while having excellent impact properties. The fiber-reinforced composite pressure vessel is formed by laminating a fiber-reinforced composite layer on a liner, wherein the fiber-reinforced composite layer comprises a cylindrical part covering a cylindrical part of the liner and a dome part covering both ends of the liner. The cylindrical part of the fiber-reinforced composite layer comprises a hoop layer laminated on the cylindrical part of the liner and a helical layer laminated on the hoop layer. The dome part of the fiber-reinforced composite layer has a helical layer laminated on both ends of the liner. The helical layer of the dome part is made of a first fiber-reinforced composite material, and the helical layer of the cylindrical part is made of a second fiber-reinforced composite material.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018 |
