简介 PURPOSE : An axial pressing method and an apparatus thereof are provided to allow for manufacture of rare earth magnet of high characteristics exceeding the characteristics of constant magnetic field transverse axial pressing method. CONSTITUTION : An axial pressing method comprises a step of dissolving an alloy having a composition of 27 to 36 weight% RE, 59 to 73 weight% FE, 0 to 5 weight% TM, and 0 to 2 weight% B, and producing an alloy ingot through a strip casting or a chill mold casting process; a step of performing a hydrogen treatment at the temperature of normal to 200 Deg.C so as to achieve improved resolution of the alloy ingot; producing micro powder having a grain size of 2 to 6㎛ through the use of a mill; a step of aligning rare earth powder by using pulse magnetic fields; a step of forming magnetic fields by using the principle of force in which the pulse magnetic fields draw magnetic materials to the center of a magnetic field coil; and a step of producing a magnet by performing a sintering process at the temperature of 100 to 1100 Deg.C, for the formed body produced in the previous step, and performing a heat treatment at the temperature of 400 to 900 Deg.C. © KIPO 2005
