PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a high-pressure discharge lamp of white light emission which is superior in various luminous characteristics such as efficiency, correlated color temperature, color rendering properties, service life and unremarkable change in the correlated color temperature and chromaticity caused by a lighting direction, by controlling a luminous metal material and its filling percentage, and a lighting system with the discharge lamp mounted.
SOLUTION : The high-pressure discharge lamp L1 includes a light-emitting tube 1A with electrodes 2A, 2B and a discharge medium filled, and an outer tube 5 with the light-emitting tube 1A arranged inside through a pair of electric power supply members 4A, 4B, wherein metal halide filled in the light-emitting tube 1A consists of Na, Tl, In, Tm and Ce or Pr which is a rare-earth metal. It is constituted so that a ratio of filled weight of each halide to a total filled amount M of these metal halide may be controlled. |
