PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an earth-retaining wall member and an earth retaining wall, in which a lumber such as the lumber from a thinning cut down on a mountain is assembled easily at a site and can be utilized and also carried out easily.
SOLUTION : The earth-retaining wall member has a base section, in which two rows of base plates with upward nuts are arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction and each base plate is connected by connecting materials in the longitudinal direction and the cross direction, and a front wall and a rear wall in which a plurality of stages of logs are arranged on the base plates in the longitudinal direction. Each log in the front wall and the rear wall is constituted by connecting and integrating the logs by connecting bolts in which lower ends are screwed to the nuts and disposed in upright. Accordingly, transport and assembly works can be conducted easily because the base section is composed of lightweight members, and the lumbers such as the lumbers from the thinning on the mountain near to the site can be assembled easily at the site in the front wall and the rear wall. A natural landscape can be realized even when the front wall and the rear wall are exposed because these walls are composed of the logs. |
